Exotic Pressure Dance Company is a majorette/hip-hop style dance team. We are located in Hopewell Virginia. We accept children from the ages of 7-18 years old. This team is a newly revamped team with a new location, new team members and a new start. We originally began this dance team due to my oldest daughter's dad tragically passing away in 2021. Here, we more than a just a "dance" team, we are a family. We offer tutoring and mentorship for kids of ALL ages. 

We travel in state and out of state for competitions. We are all about hard work and dedication. We are here to help build confidence and show the children how to win and lose gracefully. No matter what we will make sure the children know they are winners and that we have their backs.

 

**TINY TOTS** PRESSURE POM POM SQUAD

THIS SQUAD IS FOR CHILDREN AGES 4 TO 7 YEARS OLD. THEY WILL LEARN BASIC MAJORETTE AND HAVE ROUTINES. THEY WILL ALSO BE IMPLEMENTED IN PARADES, COMPETTIONS, AND EVENTS. THESE CHOLDREN WILL WORK THEIR WAY UP TO THE MINIS SQUAD (AGES 7-9) THEY WILL PRACTICE 1-2 TIMES A WEEK IN HOPEWELL VA FROM 6PM-7 OR 7:30PM

 

TUITION IS $35/PER MONTH DUE EVERY 1ST OF THE MONTH THERE WILL ALSO BE A 12 MONTH CONTRACT REQUIREMENT. THEY WILL NEED ALL REQUIREMENTS BELOW.

Pom dance is an energetic and dynamic style of dance that places emphasis on precise and characterized arm movements, formations, jumps, and skills. It is characterized  by its use of poms, which dancers hold in their hands throughout the routine. The choreography in pom dance is typically fast-paced, visually appealing, and filled with high-energy movements.

Pom dance incorporates elements from various dance styles, including jazz and hip hop. Dancers often integrate jazz-inspired techniques such as kicks, turns, leaps, and extensions, combined with hip hop-inspired isolations and body movements. This fusion of styles creates a unique and vibrant performance that captivates both dancers and audiences alike.

FUNDRAISERS

We will host fundraisers to help supply us with uniforms, costumes, travel expenses. WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT as parents to help support our children. We are BIG on communication and active communication is required.

PRACTICE

We practice 2-3 times a week, it depends on if we have events coming up. 

Practice wear will be needed for EVERY PRACTICE. (Practice wear packet will need to be ordered ASAP) * I suggest ordering a size up* for now Black bottoms and a white or black top. Please dress comfortable NO jeans.

Tuition

Tuition is due on the 1st of every month. We accept several different payment types. There is a 12-month contract that has to be signed after try-outs for stability. Tuition is $50/month due on the FIRST of every month.

5th of the month- $20 Late FEE

10th of the month late fee additional $10

15th of the month- additional $10

On the 20th of the month: possible Termination

There is a multi-child discount for 2 kids it’s $90/month 🥶3 kids $115/month 

 

We also host competitions right here in the city and give the older kids a paid job to work and help them get ready for their adult life. Parents have an opportunity to work as well.

Communication

Our form of communication is FB messenger I will add u once your child has made the team. PLEASE check daily. it is IMPERITIVE that we maintain effective communication. There will be a "kids" group chat as well for the kids 10 and up to update on dance moves and information. There will be a monthly calendar with practice dates, times, and upcoming fundraisers and events.
